27/3/18 – Oscar has been rehomed!

Gorgeous Oscar is a 10 year old yellow Labrador boy who finds himself at Glendee Dog Rescue in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

Oscar is a sociable chap who is good with children and other dogs, and with careful introductions he could live with a dog-savvy cat. In typical Labrador fashion, Oscar is happy, sweet natured and will always tell you that he’s hungry!

Oscar loves to be active. He enjoys training so would benefit from a home where he will be stimulated. He loves the company of both people and dogs. Oscar has been on a diet since being at the kennels and his weight will need to be monitored in his new home. He is currently having raw food.

Oscar has been healthy during his stay at the kennels and he is neutered. He was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in his last home, so he is having Loxicom/Metacam to keep him comfortable. He will need this for the rest of his life and he will also need to be kept to a nice slim size to protect his hips.

Oscar has no major behavioural issues. He would benefit from training to help him settle into his new home, interactive training to keep his mind stimulated and a little loose lead walking.
