Affectionate girl Rio is an 11 year old crossbreed who has recently come back in to rescue after her owner became too poorly to look after her. She’s in a foster home in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, through Leash of Life.

Rio is very easy to live with. She’s friendly with everyone – humans and dogs, she’s housetrained and she walks nicely on the lead. It’s not known how she is with cats but she ignores the resident guinea pigs, so it’s thought she might be OK with them. She’d certainly be happy living with another dog or two, after nice introductions.

Rio is a big girl but she’s a soppy, lollopy, lovely one. She’d like a quiet, adult only home for her retirement years. One where she’ll get lots of love!

Rio is spayed and apart from a bit of age related stiffness, she’s in fine fettle.

If you have space in your home and heart for this big dollop of loveliness, please contact Leash of Life as follows:
