4/11/18 – Tara has been adopted!

Golden oldie Tara is brought to you by Dogs Trust Merseyside in Liverpool. She’s a bit of a couch potato these days, and is looking for someone who will join her on the sofa for cuddles.

Tara will walk with quiet dogs, but doesn’t enjoy them getting too close or trying to interact too much, so would like to be the only dog in the home. She can be a little nervous when first meeting people, so she’ll be best with any children being older, 14 and above.

She’s a very affectionate, relaxed girl at home. Once she’s had a bit of time exploring, will plonk down and flake out! She still enjoys playing with toys, but she does tire quickly if she gets a little carried away.

Tara needs shorter walks these days, but she still loves to go out and can be surprisingly strong on her lead for a lady of her years! She’s happiest when she has company, although she is housetrained and can be left alone for a few hours. She’s looking for a quiet life with plenty of lounging in the sunshine!
