7/9/19 – We are so happy to see that 15-year-old Fred has found a lovely home! See him on Facebook.

This happy, handsome face belongs to Fred! He is a lovely German Shepherd Cross who is 15-years-old, but you really wouldn’t guess that when you meet him. Fred is at Derby & District RSPCA as his owner sadly passed away.

Fred is in great shape for his age, he looks a lot younger, and he still has plenty of life left in him to enjoy his new home when he finds it. He is such a sweet boy who enjoys a tootle around on a walk and then going back home for a well-earned snooze.

Fred loves to be with you and will lie next to you for fuss and love. He also enjoys his own company though and will settle down alone. A quiet life is what Fred is looking for, somewhere he can just relax and ponder. He’d make an ideal calm and steady friend for someone who works from home and wants a quiet companion.

Fred could potentially live with a compatible dog and he could live with children aged 16+. He’d like a quiet home though.

This lovely boy doesn’t deserve to spend the last few years of his life in a kennel environment. He needs a comfy bed and to be loved. Could you rescue Fred?
