Wise, friendly Katai is a 7 year old German Shepherd Dog in the care of Active Animals Rescue & Rehabilitation, at boarding kennels in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
Katai has NEVER had a home! He’s spent years in a shelter in Romania and is waiting in kennels for his forever human(s) to find him. In the shelter, he was like a wise old king… the gentle giant who never picked fights and broke up the other dogs squabbles. A kind leader. He was patient with all the other dogs around him.
He could live with other dogs happily of any size though would be perfectly happy as an only dog too.
This lad just lives for human affection. Those who met him in the shelter in Romania were constantly finding him following them, wanting any affection he could get.
Katai needs a fairly active home as he requires at least an hour’s worth of walkies a day. He should be fine to live with dog savvy children over 10. The more people to love him, the better!
Katai is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and healthy. He can be adopted anywhere in the UK but the adopter must be willing to travel to him in Hampshire.
