30/9/19 – We are delighted to hear that beautiful Mecha has found a new home!

Mecha is stunningly good looking German Shepherd girl who is just about to turn 8. She is at Chilterns Dog Rescue Society in Tring, Hertfordshire.

Mecha has shared a country home with a single gentleman, his walking companion and loyal friend. Sadly his work has taken him away from home and, with no one to care for Mecha in his absence, she is now looking for a similar home. She is a big, strong girl who needs someone with the time and space to invest in her. She seems much younger than her years, so regular daily exercise and play will be important.

Mecha is unused to meeting other dogs and while she is mostly comfortable when meeting them out and about, she would be best as the only dog in a home without cats. Mecha has a good level of basic obedience and recall and is learning more at the Centre. An experienced German Shepherd owner could build a real bond with this proud, older lady.

Mecha had a sore ear and some dermatitis on her abdomen on arrival at CDRS. This has been almost resolved through medicated baths and a change of diet and continues to improve. No other health issues have been detected. She is spayed.

Do you have the ideal home for beautiful Mecha?
