28/10/19 – Poppet is now rehomed!
Poppet is lovely 9-year-old Staffy X lady who was rescued from a pound. She is now in a foster home in Cambridgeshire, with Boxer & Bully Saviours (BABS), while she waits for someone to offer her a forever home.
She is a beautiful, happy and sociable girl who is sharing her foster home with other dogs. In fact she loves other dogs and would enjoy living with a compatible canine friend or two in her new home, so long as they aren’t too young and rough with her – she is an older lady after all. She shares bones and treats nicely but she likes to keep her tuggy ropes to herself.
Poppet will chase cats and bark at them so needs a cat-free home. She is good with children and can live with ones aged over 8 years as she can get excited and jump up. She takes food very politely.
Lovely Poppet enjoys a car ride and sits nicely as she travels along. She doesn’t need loads of exercise but she enjoys walks and walks beautifully in a halti. Her recall is good in the garden. She enjoys a good splash about in the paddling pool, bless her. Poppet is a clever little girl too who knows lots of commands.
