4/11/19 – Lovely little Rustie has a new home lined up to go to. His new people found him via the Oldies Club website. We couldn’t be more happy for Rustie!

Rustie is a very handsome 11-year-old Yorkshire Terrier boy who is in foster with The Mutts Nutts Rescue in Lincolnshire. Rustie appears on their Facebook page.

Smart little Rustie is in need of a new home as his elderly owner is sadly very ill and no longer able to look after him. Rustie had been in his previous home for 10 years and yet he is showing remarkable resilience to the change in his surroundings and he is settling well in foster care.

He is a great little guy with lots of love to give and, as you can see in these lovely photos, Rustie is still full of beans and loves his walks. He needs an active owner who will continue with his exercising in order to keep him happy and healthy.

The family of his previous owner have advised that Rustie can be protective of his bed and toys – a trait that Yorkie owners might be familiar with. Although Rustie is said to be a little choosy with other dogs, he is currently sharing with two other dogs in foster with no issues. However he may suit being an only dog once again. Rustie has previously lived with a cat. He would be happiest in a household without young children (and preferably with no visiting youngsters).

Rustie has been given a health check at the vets and is in good health – he does have a fatty lump under his right leg which is harmless and appears to be causing no issues. He is neutered and is up to date with his vaccinations and flea and worm treatment. He is also microchipped.

Could you offer this fun and fabulous little fellow an active new home?
