21/10/19 – Wonderful news for Sonny – he’s found a new home!

Sonny is an adorable 15-year-old Jack Russell Terrier boy who has had a really rough couple of years. He is with Good Karma Rescue, in foster in Gravesend Kent, and hoping that his luck has now changed.
Sonny’s owner became sick, so he wasn’t getting regular walks, and then his owner ended up in hospital and was no longer able to take care of Sonny.
Sonny was left alone in the house for a week and then put in kennels for 2 weeks where he lost a lot of weight. He would have continued to deteriorate in kennels, and with no-one coming back to get him Good Karma offered him temporary foster care while he finds a new home. He is now in the company of other dogs, is having walks every day and is enjoying home-cooked food to bulk him back up.
He is an adorable little cheeky chappy who loves a cuddle and is happiest sleeping on the bed with his foster mum. This poor old boy has been through a lot so he needs someone who is home a lot of the time to make up for the attention he’s missed out on in recent times.
He is housetrained but there may be the odd accident as he readjusts to a new routine, especially after being in kennels. He is OK in the car and he loves his walks but is happy with about 30 minutes walking daily.
Sonny lives happily with other dogs, but is not neutered so needs to be either your only dog or live with dogs who are neutered. Sonny is the sweetest little boy who, despite everything he has had to contend with, is a marvellous little, loving dog. He will make an amazing companion for someone who can offer him their love and time in his twilight years.
