21/11/19 – Sugar has found a wonderful new home in Oxfordshire, thanks to being seen on the Oldies Club website. Fabulous news!

Sugar is an 11 year old Bichon Frise boy who is with Chilterns Dog Rescue Society in Tring, Hertfordshire.

Sugar has lived in the same home since he was a puppy, happily mixing with three children and a cat. He has been a much loved dog and is only looking for a new home now because his family are moving and are unable to take him with them.

It is hard to believe Sugar is 11 – he is fit and active and no health issues have been detected to date but he will have further vet checks before leaving the Rescue Centre. His ears, eyes, skin and teeth are all in excellent condition and he certainly has lots of energy and a real joy for life. He is neutered.

Sugar is looking for a home where he will receive a good walk at least once a day and have a secure garden to explore. He walks well on a lead but is not used to off lead exercise. Sugar would be happy to spend a few hours alone but would not want to be left alone for long periods or on a regular basis.

Sugar has done little travelling by car so can be anxious, but he could easily get used to trips out with more practice. Sugar is used to cats and would be happy to interact with visiting children or grandchildren. He is also good with other dogs. He is the ideal dog for someone newly retired who enjoys walking and wants a clever, engaging and charming canine companion to spend time with and take for walks.

Could you offer Sugar a home?
