26/03/20 – It’s great news for Charlie – he now has a new home lined up to go to!
Charlie is a 8-year-old Collie boy who is with Starfish Dog Rescue, being fostered in Gloucestershire with other dogs in an adult home.
This lovely boy was bought via the internet 5 months ago, along with Jess the collie, but from separate homes. Charlie had been at his previous home since a puppy. The family who bought him recently no longer had the time for him and Jess.
The first thing that strikes you about Charlie and Jess is how lovely and friendly they are, being good with dogs and people. Charlie wouldn’t suit a home with cats as he is quite interested in them.
Charlie has settled like a dream with his foster family. He is fine with other dogs, good off the lead, clean in the home and he sleeps well at night – no problems at all. It has become apparent that someone at some time did love him and train him etc. He is a very well-balanced dog.
Charlie is a little overweight at the moment but Starfish are working on this. He is a typical collie who loves his ball and chasing it, loves his walks, and he particularly loves men. Here is a short video of him with his foster dad:
Charlie now needs a home for life, bless him. He is a gift of a dog as he is such a lovely boy. He is fit and active so requires exercise every day and he loves company as he is a very loving dog. Charlie is neutered and vaccinated.
This gorgeous boy will make a wonderful companion and he could become his new owner’s world. Starfish would love him to go to someone to whom he can make a difference, maybe someone lonely or heartbroken since losing their last dog and who wants a loving boy who will fit into their life, someone who needs him as much as he needs them, as he is such a special boy.
