2/8/20 – Dodger still needs a home
7-year-old Dodger arrived at Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool via a veterinary surgery where he was taken to be put to sleep as his owner’s circumstances had changed and they could no longer care for him.
Gorgeous Dodger is happy and settled at Freshfields and he enjoys tearing around their field, going for long walks and having plenty of cuddles, but what he really needs is a home of his own. He is a real character and brings a lot of fun and energy with him wherever he goes.
Dodger is a handsome boy and is very sweet natured. He can be nervous when meeting strangers so his potential new owners will need to meet him several times before adoption. He needs an adult only home with no children planned for the future and he needs the stability of a settled family that can commit to him forever.
Dodger doesn’t like other animals, but please don’t let this put you off him. He just needs to be your only pet and to be walked at quiet times or in quiet places. Freshfields staff have bonded well with Dodger and they really love him. He is a special dog who takes time to show his true personality, but this is a sign of a truly devoted dog.
If you are lucky enough to adopt Dodger you will not be disappointed. He is gorgeous and will be such a loving, loyal boy with plenty of character to entertain you.
Could you offer sweet Dodger an adult home as your only pet?
