Gorgeous, affectionate boy Dodger is an 8 year old Lurcher in the care of Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool. He’s looking for an adult-only home and, being a bit shy at first, he wants to meet his potential new humans a few times at the rescue before deciding anything.

He’s a very bright lad and would like to address you himself… “My friends here say I am just the best. They have no idea why I haven’t managed to find my forever family yet. I’ve been told I am such a good boy. I would be happy to be left alone for a couple of hours in my new home. I love to go out and about on adventures and would benefit from having someone with experience of rescue dogs. I would like to be the only pet in an adult only home.

“I am super loyal to the people that I love and I have a lot of character! I love nothing more than zooming around on the field here to stretch my long legs.

“I also love to be fussed over once I feel safe. It would be much easier for me if my new family would make several visits to come and meet me and to build a relationship.

“Please if you think you know who my new family is then ask them to get in touch. I’ve been waiting to meet them for so long! As much as I love all my friends here I really want nothing more than to finally find my new home.”

Dodger wants to be the only pet at home. He finds other dogs a worry and needs to be walked at quiet times of day, in quiet areas. A good garden for occasional zoomies would be good for him too.
