12/9/20 – Gorgeous little Elsie has found a new home. That was quick!
Elsie is an adorable little terrier, approx. 10 years old, who is with All Animals Rescue & Rehome in Essex.
When she arrived in rescue, Elsie wouldn’t even look at anyone, she just ran and hid for days. But she has been in her foster home for about 2 months now and has learnt to relax. She is a beautiful little lady and will make a very rewarding addition to her new family.
Elsie adores men and her ideal home would be with a single older man. Elsie has obviously lived a very sheltered life, but she LOVES her walks and transforms into a totally different dog when she is out walking; she might have had a traumatic experience in the home that has left her mentally scarred. She loves to pick up a stone on her walks and bring it home with her.
Elsie is neutered, microchipped, de-flead and wormed. She is house-trained, walks well on the lead, is non-destructive and can be left for short periods. Elsie loves home comforts and a cuddle – if she could get in your pocket she would, she will happily spend most of her day sat with you, if you are her chosen human. She also likes to sleep on the bed! She travels very well in the car.
Whoever adopts this little lady will be very lucky indeed as she really has the most amazing nature once she knows and trusts you. Elsie is fine to live with cats, she doesn’t take any notice of them at all. Elsie would like a quiet home with an older person or couple who she can snuggle up with.
Elsie is on medication for an enlarged heart, which costs roughly £10 a month. She isn’t showing any symptoms of illness and it doesn’t seem to affect her at the moment, but she will need to stay on medication for life. She is very good at taking the tablet, especially with a piece of cheese!
