13/4/20 – Lovely Tiger has found a home!
Smiley Tiger is a handsome 9-year-old large Crossbreed boy, with some Eskimo-breed in the mix, who is with Love Underdogs in Waltham Abbey, Essex.
He is described as a truly wonderful dog despite having been kept as a yard dog in a cage all of his life with no shelter or quality of life. He had nowhere to take refuge from the wet and damp ground except on top of his crate, as shown in the photo below.
Despite all of this horror, Tiger is now a very happy boy with lots of character. He loves people and has been great around other dogs (sometimes a little keen, but he has only just been castrated). He loves to run around and is very strong, so he needs someone who can handle larger dogs, preferably with Eskimo-breed experience.
He has learned to walk well with Love Underdogs and his lead walking is certainly improving.
Tiger is looking for an adult-only home as Love Underdogs prefer to rehome older dogs to homes with no children. He can’t live with small furries but would be fine to live with a compatible dog. He needs access to countryside walks if possible, and a nice garden to potter in. He loves a cuddle and is very affectionate, so someone who wants a giant teddy bear would be perfect.
All Love Underdogs’ dogs are rehomed with a home trial for 2 weeks before a formal adoption. Love Underdogs offer behaviourist support for the lifetime of the dog.
