————–

This cute little lady is called Mitford and she is a 13 year old Wire-haired Fox Terrier who is looking for a new home with the help of South East Dog Rescue. She’s currently living in a foster home in Gravesend, Kent, while waiting for her new owner to take her home to a cosy bed, good food, strolls round the park and lots of cuddles.

Mitford is a very sweet and engaging older lady. She loves people and although she would like a quiet retirement home, visiting children are not a problem for her. She would like someone who is at home for most of the day as she struggles with toileting indoors if someone is not around to open the door. Her new home must be prepared for some accidents as she settles in.

Mitford loves other dogs and would happily live with a dog of similar age/energy levels. Her foster family describe her as a ‘social butterfly’ at the dog park. She is quite strong willed (she is a terrier after all!), so someone who has experience would be ideal. She has no guarding issues around toys or food. Mitford would not want to live with young children or cats.

Mitford can be a little reluctant to go on walks initially but, once she gets going, she loves her strolls around the park and does not pull. Short walks are perfect for her. She is quite worried by traffic, so a nice quiet area to live in would be perfect. Mitford travels well in the car.
