Morgan is a 9 year old white medium/small crossbreed boy in foster care in Hingham, Norfolk through Safe Rescue. He’s a special lad who must’ve had very bad experiences in Romania, therefore he will need a very experienced quiet home with people who have time and patience to work with him.
When he first came into foster he would hide away, petrified of human contact, he still does not like loud noises or shouting, in time he has slowly started to trust but still has a distance to go. He will now take a treat from the fosterers hand and has a waggy tail when he is with the other dogs or it’s food time.
He is lead trained and enjoys his walks, getting the lead on him can take a little work, once a lead is on him he can be handled easily, he has never shown any aggression in the foster home. He loves his foster brothers and sisters and will follow them everywhere. He likes to sit on the settee with them and the fosterer. He is yet to enjoy the human touch but that will come with time and patience.
Morgan will need to be rehomed with one or more confident friendly dogs, an all adult family with lots of rescue experience and time on their hands, he is not cat tested and will not be.
Adopters who have adopted a quirky dog like Morgan know how rewarding it is when they finally start to love you back – it does take time and patience. Morgan is one of these special souls and will flourish in the right hands and home.
