20/5/2021 Morgan is one very happy gent now that he’s gone to his new home.

Poor old Morgan is a 9 year old gentleman, still gradually getting used to a nice environment with kind people, thanks to Safe Rescue. He’s in a multi-dog foster home in Hingham, Norfolk after spending most of his life simply surviving in Romania.

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from Safe Rescue must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue.

Morgan loves other dogs and needs a home with at least one to show him the ropes. He follows his foster siblings around and only properly relaxes when they’re all snuggled on the sofa together. The foster carer is welcome there too but it’s the dogs which make him feel safe.

Morgan’s new humans must be experienced with rescue dogs. He finds many things a bit of a worry. He’s still getting used to being stroked and doesn’t yet enjoy it but he will, in time. He’s come a long way from the cowering, terrified dog he was at first. He now gently takes treats from his foster carers hand and has a very waggy tail at food time!

Morgan loves walkies. He’s good on the lead, although he’s still slightly anxious about the process of having his lead put on. Once it is, adventures outdoors with his pack are great fun for him. Just so long as they can have a communal nap afterwards!

If you can offer Morgan the steady, happy retirement he needs, please contact Safe Rescue as follows:
