Steady my beating heart! How gorgeous is this handsome fella? Sancho is a big lad (35kg) who is 8 years old and with Love Underdogs in Waltham Abbey, Essex. You would need to be able to visit Sancho a couple of times before he can go on a home trial.

Despite his size, Sancho is a really lovely, gentle dog who is a little unsure of new situations or people, but always tries his best to be brave. He has so much to offer to his new people. To help his confidence, Sancho needs a home with people who already have a settled and well-balanced but non-dominant dog. Sancho can be quite submissive so doesn’t want to be bullied.
You will need to be loving, understanding and patient, and the sort of person who will enjoy showing Sancho how life can be so different to the life of abuse he suffered in Romania.
Sancho will want to go on lots of adventures once he has settled and come out of his shell. He will be a super playful and fun dog too.
Given his lack of confidence, Sancho is looking for a home without children. He needs a home with a garden as he is not suited to living in a flat or a very busy central town location.
All Love Underdogs’ dogs are rehomed with a home trial for 2 weeks before a formal adoption. Love Underdogs offer behaviourist support for the lifetime of the dog.
