4/10/21 – Lovely Tinka has gone off to her new home!

Tinka is a beautiful German Shepherd Cross who has been in a family home all her life. She has come into the care of RSPCA Essex South, Southend & District Branch through no fault of her own as her previous owner could no longer care for her. She cannot wait to find her forever home where she can get all the love and attention she deserves.
Tinka is around 8 years old and is a friendly girl who is gentle, loves attention but mainly on her terms and equally likes quiet time on her own. She is a confident dog, housetrained, good in the car and walks nicely on the lead. She has no known medical needs and has been spayed.
Tinka can be worried by some dogs out on walks, as she was attacked by a dog when young. So sometimes she can be reactive on walks and bark at other dogs. She is looking for a home where she is the only pet and can get all her humans’ attention all to herself as she loves fuss and attention.
Tinka is still an active girl and prefers to take her walks in quiet areas without too many distractions to worry her. She can be a bit worried being left on her own, so she would prefer someone around to begin with which is built up over time. She would also need access to a secure, private garden and any children in the home should be aged 8+.
Tinka quickly wins over the hearts of anyone she meets, her smile and her goofy manner can only make you laugh. She is a joy to have around the home, she loves a good scratch behind her ears and knows nothing better than lazy Sundays where she can put her feet up after a leisurely walk in the countryside. One of Tinka’s great pleasures are BUBBLES, BUBBLES, BUBBLES. She loves playing with bubbles in the garden, makes the most endearing sound and each one must be popped by her.
