Wanda is so happy to be in a foster home in Hingham, Norfolk, after life in a Romanian shelter. She’s hoping to find her forever home soon with the help of Safe Rescue.

Wanda is a very sprightly, 12 year old Terrier Cross. She is lead trained and really loves her walks and will ask to go in the morning and evening. She gets on with other dogs but her favourite past-time after walks is to be curled up next to her human.

Wanda is looking for a retirement home and she needs a companion to be at home a large part of the day. She is a terrier and has typical terrier traits; she prefers women to men and needs an experienced home that will set boundaries with her.

Wanda sleeps happily downstairs at night and, when woken up, she needs to be taken out in the garden for a toilet break. She will follow and is very at good toileting but, if left and not taken out, she can have a couple of accidents. Please do not apply if you want a totally house-trained dog; she is in her twilight years.

Wanda is cat tested and is fine with them. Any children in the home must be aged 14+. Fences and gates must be 5ft minimum and secure. Wanda is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from Safe Rescue must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue.
