24/6/2022 Jessie has been taken into a local rescue near Droitwich and no longer in the care of Leicester Animal Aid.

This is the lovely Jessie who was rehomed by Leicester Animal Aid two years ago but, sadly, her owners are not well and finding it difficult to care for her and give her the attention she needs. Note: Jessie is living at home in Droitwich, Worcestershire and not at the Rescue Centre, so any potential adopters must be prepared to travel and meet her there with her owners.
Jessie is a 13 year old Jack Russell Terrier and is known as “Just love me Jessie”. She is a typically smart, fun-loving and very affectionate lady who loves a cuddle and will sit on your knee whilst watching TV. You would never know her age as she’s full of life and ready for the next adventure, travelling well in the car. She is very talkative and thrives on attention, a real best friend and true companion.
Jessie prefers regular, short walks throughout the day and is happy to walk come rain or shine. She will say hello to other dogs when out and about and her owners have let her off-lead as she responds well to recall with tasty treats, but this is something to build on as you get to know each other.
Jessie is very loyal and devoted to her owners; she adores spending time with them whether it be in the home or out and about. As mentioned above, Jessie is living within the Droitwich area so a new owner must be happy to travel to meet her and understand that there will be a period of adjustment whilst settling into a new environment and routine.
Jessie’s new owner must be patient and aware she does not like to be left alone. Her current owners have worked hard over the last few years and they can leave her at home for a couple of hours. She would like to be the only pet in the home and could live with children aged 16+.
