7/1/2023 – We are so pleased to hear that Lightning and Bubba have found a new home!

Lightning and Bubba are a delightful, devoted pair, looking for a new home together. They are with Foal Farm Animal Rescue in Kent. The rescue prefers to rehome in their locality if at all possible.
Lightning is a male Lurcher, aged 10, and Bubba is a female Crossbreed aged just 4. They arrived in rescue together as their elderly owner could no longer look after them. They would like a home as your only pets so that they can get all the attention they deserve, but they could live with children aged over 8 years.
They are the most wonderful dogs, and although an unlikely pair, they complement one another perfectly. They are a joy to walk and they have their own independent characters which are as individual as their breeds.
Tiny Bubba is something of a diva and is the little one who wants all of the attention. She really enjoys a fuss and she has a very gentle nature, although she does think she’s the boss.
Lightning is a very chilled boy who still enjoys walks and likes to have some playtime with his toys. He has an intense scar on the side of his body from an injury that happened much earlier in his life.
This gorgeous duo like to cuddle up together in the same bed and they are happy to be left in the house with no concerns. They have flown through their assessments at Foal Farm and are now seeking a home they can share.
