13/9/22 – Maud has found a home!
Maud is an adorable 10 year old Westie who arrived at All Animals Rescue & Rehome from the pound after she was left unclaimed. She has the most fabulous ears!
This poor little girl was a mess on arrival, with a heavily matted coat, bad ears, overgrown nails and a rotten mouth. More seriously she also had Pyometra (womb infection) that almost certainly would have killed her had she waited any longer. Once her vet work was done, she was transformed.
Maud is a beautiful little lady and will make a very rewarding addition to her new home. She is a typical cheeky little Westie and when she wants something will happily give you a nudge or a little tap with her paw. Maud loves home comforts and a cuddle, and if she could get in your pocket she would. She will happily spend most of her day sitting with you, if you are her chosen human. She also likes to sleep on the bed!
Maud is neutered, microchipped, de-flead and wormed. She has also had a dental. She is housetrained, walks well on the lead, is non-destructive and can be left for short periods. Maud travels very well in the car. She doesn’t seem to hear very much but is happy to potter along with her human for light walks. She always stays close.
Maud will enjoy the quiet life with an older person or couple who she can snuggle up with. She will make a wonderful companion. Maud is fine with other dogs but would be best as the only dog in her new home. She is fine with cats.
