2/11/22 – Tango is now happily settled in his new home with another Maltese X friend!

Tango is a white Maltese x Chihuahua boy who is 9 years old and in the care of Chilterns Dog Rescue Society in Tring, Hertfordshire.

Tango lived in an adult home with two other dogs until his owner felt there was tension between him an elderly bitch who did not appreciate his advances. Tango has now been neutered so this issue has been resolved. He is a sweet-natured boy weighing only 2.7kg and, although initially quite shy, he has really come out of his shell at the Rescue Centre. Tango is affectionate and active and is loving his time with the staff, volunteers and other dogs.

Sweet Tango would like a quiet, cosy home where he can become someone’s loyal companion, enjoying daily walks, playtime and lots of home comforts. He would be happy to be an only dog but could also join a home with a suitable friend. A secure garden is essential as he is so small that he could squeeze through any tiny gaps. He has no experience of small children but visiting older children would be welcome, and he could even learn to share happily with a cat. He is used to an occasional car journey and, while he would probably prefer to have someone at home most of the time, could easily manage an hour or two on his own.

Tango has no known health issues. He is due his second vaccination early in November.
