Angus has recently turned 8. He is a liver and white English Setter who originates from Greece and is now with Settusfree, in foster near Thetford.

Angus was originally found near a traveller site in Greece where he was being chased and stoned by the local children. He is a big softy, but has a nervous disposition and needs to be allowed to build his confidence in his own time. In foster he is doing so well and he’s learnt to trust again. He is a respectful chap and is living with two other setters and a couple of cats. He’s definitely needing a home with at least one other dog and he is great around cats. A no-children home is a must for Angus due to his past traumas. He has a high prey drive and he loves to run and run in a secure field.

He is neutered. Angus has Leishmania, which is managed by taking a cheap daily medication. Please do not let this put you off adopting him as dogs with Leishmania live full and happy lives when treated.

Angus can be left alone for periods of time and he travels well in the car. Could you offer this gentle lad a loving forever home?
