Lahara is a large German Shepherd cross in the care of Safe Rescue. She’s in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk. She was previously at a shelter in Romania and although her passport says she’s 8, she could be a bit younger. She’s very lovely!

Lahara can live with other compatible dogs or as an only dog. She’s very submissive and wouldn’t want to live with many other dogs as she doesn’t stick up for herself. Bless her!

She is a little hand shy but once she trusts someone, she enjoys a fuss.

Lahara can live with dog savvy older children from age 10, as long as they respect her timid nature.

She will take some time to settle into her new home but seeing her relax and thrive will be well worth the wait. She already likes being brushed!

Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Lahara’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook
