Basil is about 10 years old and is being fostered in Bedworth, Warwickshire, through Nirina Dog Adoptions.
Poor sweet Basil has been in a shelter the majority of his life. He has settled at his foster home wonderfully though and is enjoying home comforts.
He gets on fine with other dogs, cats and children. He walks well on the lead and prefers a gentle stroll or a potter in the garden.
Basil’s ideal home is with someone who can offer him a quiet life with someone around the majority of the time. He can live with calm dogs and is happy to be left on his own for a few hours. He is toilet trained and good in the car.
