Poor sweet old Bobi has been brought to the U.K. from Bosnia as he was no longer coping at the shelter. He’s now safe and sound in a foster home in Malvern, Worcestershire provided by Nirina Dog Adoptions, where he can enjoy life and look forward to his forever home.

Bobi was born in 2009 and is a castrated Shepherd Cross. He is a bit on the larger side, to be specific around 55cm, but he still thinks he is just a little lapdog.

At 13 years old and being looked after at the shelter for many years, the volunteers saw Bobi lose hope of ever being offered a home of his own. He no longer saw the joy in walks and just wanted some comfort from people. Bobi spent his days lying in bed and watching other dogs waiting for attention.

Since being in foster care, Bobi has perked up and is keen to see what luxuries home life has to offer. He is interested in his surroundings and loving having a garden. He is a loveable boy who just wants to be spoiled and cuddled. Bobi is great with other dogs and equally would not be fussed if he were an only dog too. He is not keen going for walks or getting in and out of the car but, once settled, he is okay. Once used to his new home, he would likely adjust to going for walks in a harness.

Bobi has no sight in one eye but can see in his other eye. He can misjudge direction and distance when trying to take a treat from you. He appears to be slightly deaf, or too interested in other things to listen, but his nose works perfectly and any food is quickly found. He is in good health and likes to potter around the garden.
