13/4/24 – Gorgeous Star has been rehomed!
Stunning Star was rescued from a hoarding situation when the property was abandoned. She was dirty, skinny and very confused; the conditions she was found living in were dire and some of the dogs there had already died sadly. Happily now, she’s in the care of All Animals Rescue & Rehome in Essex and raring to go to her new home.
Aptly named, Star is a gorgeous, blue merle Border Collie who has just turned 8 years old according to her microchip. Despite her past life, Star is a wonderful dog, and she is absolutely adored. She is just a happy-go-lucky girl, a very laid-back older Collie who just wants to please.
Star is a beautiful lady and will make a very rewarding addition to her new family. She is absolutely adorable and still loves a gallop around in the fields though she will also happily have a steady lead walk. Star is an amazing companion dog and will be a best friend to anyone who is lucky enough to adopt her. she loves to chase a ball and will happily throw a ball at you all day long.
Star is house-trained, walks well on the lead and is not destructive; she can be left for short periods. Star is a perfect family pet, however due to her older years, she would prefer a home with teenage children though she would love a friend to play football with her. Star is perfect off the lead and also loves to get wet and muddy. She is very responsive and well trained. She loves her home comforts and a cuddle. Star travels very well in the car.
Star is a very social little lady so could live with other dogs or would be equally happy as the only dog with lots of human company. She will do anything for food and a comfy bed or sofa. She is absolutely fine with cats and will happily curl up on the bed with the resident cat. She does like to hog the sofa and the bed at night, but she will also sleep downstairs – if she must! She just adores her humans.
Star is neutered, microchipped and flea/worm treated. While she was sedated, she had a dental. She has been neutered and gained weight nicely and is now ready to find her forever home. Whoever adopts this little lady will be very lucky indeed as she really has the most amazing well-adjusted nature and such a beautiful face.
