‘OLD DOG OF THE WEEK’ FEATURES NEW PHOTOS AND A FRESH WRITE-UP FOR AN OVERLOOKED OLDIE THAT HAS BEEN ON OUR WEBSITE FOR A WHILE BUT IS STILL WAITING FOR A NEW HOME.

Please help Camel by sharing this page!
Cuddle monster Camel is an 8-year-old who Leicester Animal Aid are very keen to find a proper home for. Kennels are no place for an older gentleman, especially such a people-loving one.

Camel can live with sensible teenagers but wants to be the only pet at home. He generally gets on OK with other dogs out and about. He loves meeting people and is very affectionate when he trusts you.

Camel doesn’t need much exercise, just short ones will do as long as he has lots of garden time. He can be strong on the lead and off-lead in a secure area is nicest for him. You can’t hurry snuffling, after all.

Camel likes having human company so a home where someone is around most of the time would be best for him. Time left alone can be built up gradually, once he’s settled in.

As well as cuddles and bum scratchies, Camel loves his food!

Camel is an undemanding dog, easy to live with and has so much love to give. He’s starting to wonder why he keeps being overlooked when his kennel mates around him get adopted. Could you turn his luck around and make him happy again?
