    Hello. Dogs are so very precious, aren’t they? Very much loved members of so many families. Here at Oldies Club, we have dedicated our volunteer work to rescuing and rehoming older dogs in the UK for almost 12 years now. Of course we love our oldies every day of the year, but we celebrate Love an Oldie Day on 14th February and invite you to make a donation to help us in our rescue work.

    Marti is a gorgeous crossbreed boy aged around 11-12, who came into Oldies Club care in the summer of 2016 when his person very sadly passed away. He had lived with his previous owner all his life, but thankfully settled well into his foster home.

    The tragedy of Toby (Oldies Club, fostered Lancashire)

    Toby arrived in foster care and it quickly became clear that he had very serious health problems. After examination by the vet, who confirmed that Toby was in a lot of pain and couldn’t be saved, he was put to sleep in his poor foster carer’s arms. Our thoughts are with Toby and his lovely foster carer. :(

    30/09/2016 – Sadly wonderful Eeyore has been checked by the vet and unfortunately has hip dysplasia which is extremely painful for the lovely lad. They have had to make the very hard decision to let him go.

    Hello, lovely supporters, we are looking for 50 people to pledge to raise £50 this September for Oldies Club. As many of you already know, we’re a small volunteer-run charity that rescues and rehomes older dogs in the UK. 50 x £50 will generate £2,500 for us, which would be a tremendous help with the care of our oldies as we approach the winter months.
