Poppy (Ark, Lincolnshire coast)
2/4/11 Very sad news about Poppy. She was off colour so was taken to the vet and he suspected a growth. A scan showed a large tumour affecting several organs and the only option was to put Poppy to sleep. Rest in peace now lovely girl.

Bella (Animal Rescue & Care, London)
18.02.11 Only four weeks after the loss of her best mate Josie, beautiful Bella (now almost 14) went to join her. She had spent almost four years in her forever home and during that time had welcomed many Oldies foster dogs into her home. Her generosity of spirit and her gentle, loving personality made her such a special dog and she will never be forgotten

Vicky (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)
Sweet little Vicky came into Oldies Club care after being picked up as a stray and rescued from very heavy traffic. She found a new home in May 2010, but sadly didn’t settle and came back to her foster home. Vicky has poor eyesight and is estimated to be at least 16 years old, so we feel she should stay where she is happiest – with her fosterer. She will remain as an Oldies Club sponsor dog for the rest of her days.

7/2/11 – Sadly Max’s health took a turn for the worse and it was decided that the kindest thing to do was to let him go. Sleep tight, sweet one.

20/1/11 – Tragically Boston had to be put to sleep this morning. He was unwell and the vet found a tumour on his kidneys. The kindest thing was to let him go. Sleep tight, Boston.
