The K9 Rescue Knitting Club makes dog coats for sale, with all the proceeds going to Dog rescues. This year they have chosen to help the Oldies Club. -

Joyce arrived in rescue in a terrible state, but her luck changed and she had a happy retirement in her new home. 13/10/08 Joyce has very sadly passed away. -
A dog should be for life…
Hundreds of dogs will die this Christmas, simply because there are too many of them and not enough homes.

Hazel (Chilterns Dog Rescue Society, Bucks)
8/2/2007 Badly neglected Hazel developed acute liver failure and had to be put to sleep. CDRS told us that she was a truly lovely dog and we are very sorry that she ran out of time before she had time to enjoy a happy home life.

Cash’s new owners feel like they’ve won the lottery!
Cash’s former owners wanted him to be put to sleep. But this happy boy survived and moved on to a wonderful new home. -

Max (Poplar Farm Kennels, Cambridge)
Max came into rescue with his best friend, Tricks. It is hard to find homes for pairs of dogs, and sadly, Max never reached his forever home. -
Brindle has found his new home for Christmas! Woohoo!!!!!
Brindle had been in Oldies Club care for months and, up until this weekend, hadn’t had a single enquiry. But he’s now in a wonderful new home! -
Jet (p.a.r.r.t., North East area)
10/3/2007 Unfortunately, Jet has had to be put to sleep. His health deteriorated rapidly and he was very distressed; the vet suspected Jet had brain tumours. -
