20/11/17 – Beautiful Tara found a new home!
———————

Lovely 9 year old Tara came to the UK in March 2017 after spending years in a public shelter. She is fortunate enough to be in foster care now, in Lincolnshire, for Waggin’ Trails Rescue, but she needs a permanent home where she can live out her retirement.

Tara is a chilled and beautiful lady and she’s very affectionate with people. She’s good around other dogs too and shares her foster home with canine pals. Her cat-status isn’t known, but her foster mum says she’s such a calm girl that she would most likely be fine around confident cats.

Tara likes to make the most of her walks, and takes time checking out all the interesting smells along the way! She has some muscle wastage in her back legs, so doesn’t need to go too far. In her foster home she’ll take herself out into the garden to lie on the decking and watch the world go by.

Tara doesn’t mind being left for reasonable periods of time and she’s not destructive. She would be happy as an only dog or could share with another calm canine. Her ideal home would be somewhere quiet, perhaps with an older person/couple, or a family with older children.

Tara is on medication for the muscle wastage in her back legs and she has recently had a dental.
