This lovely 10 year old boy is Jojo and he’s a medium sized crossbreed. Jojo is old and quite battered by a hard life in Romania, but now he’s in the care of a Safe Rescue foster home in Thetford, Norfolk.
Safe Rescue couldn’t say no to Jojo. The Romanian winter was killing him with freezing temperatures of minus 20 and the damp creeping in. He was depressed and movement was painful, so he hardly ever left his bed of damp straw, poor old boy.
Now that he’s in the warmth, with a loving foster home to make him feel welcome, the relief in Jojo is immense! He loves his warm padded bed and is enjoying gentle exercise and daily pain relief.
Jojo has a very loving nature and will take all the cuddles and fuss you can give him. He’s great with children too and just wants to be around people.
Jojo is good with most other dogs he meets, but he will grumble at big dogs. He’s a good boy on his walks and is now walking nicely on his lead.
It’s possible that Jojo has been hit by a vehicle in the past. He has a wonky jaw and some stiffness in his legs which is why he’s on daily pain relief. He has no issues with eating though.
Do you think you could offer Jojo the loving retirement home he deserves?
