15/1/2019 After months of waiting, Jojo is so happy now that he has been adopted.

Johra (aka Jojo) is an 11 year old medium sized crossbreed who was rescued from a hard life in a Romanian shelter by Safe Rescue. He’s now enjoying home comforts in Wymondham, Norfolk. He’s proven himself to be a very loving gentleman, good with other dogs and children.
Jojo has been a bit battered by life in the past. When he came from Romania, he was struggling with pain in his joints from the cold, damp winters and he barely moved from his bed. His transformation since coming to the UK has been incredible!
He has been given a new lease of life. With a warm comfortable bed, daily pain relief, and lots of love and attention from his foster carers, his bright eyes now show his happy nature.
Jojo is calm and quiet, very gentle and responsive. He has some leg stiffness and arthritis, probably from being hit by a car at some point, and also has a wonky jaw, but has no problems with eating. It just makes him look jaunty! He is on pain medication, which keeps him comfortable and means he’s fine with daily his walks.
He absolutely loves his walks! He behaves beautifully on the lead, with no pulling or straining. He has not lived with a cat, but generally ignores the ones he sees when out and about. He is courteous with other dogs he meets. He’ll occasionally whine or growl if an overly excited dog approaches, but he’s clearly a pacifist at heart.
Jojo loves children and will sit patiently waiting to be stroked. Since he’s an older dog, he prefers to spend his time fairly quietly, snoozing in the garden or stretched out at your feet.
He is fine to be left alone for a portion of the day, but his current fosterer takes him to work most days and he’s very well behaved! Jojo is looking for a comfortable home to spend the rest of his days, and in return you will find him to be peaceful, loving and attentive company.
