28/06/18 – Lovely Tiff has found a home!

Pretty little Tiff is a very cute 9 year old Chihuahua x Jack Russell Terrier girl who is at the Ark Animal Rescue and Retirement Home, at North Somercotes on the Lincolnshire coast.

Tiff arrived at the Ark with her friend Bonnie but their owner said it would be OK to rehome them separately to give them a better chance of finding a home quickly. They had been in their home from being pups, but now their owner’s circumstances have changed and their owner can’t give the dogs the care they deserve.

Tiff is a friendly and cuddly dog who would love to sit on your knee, and she used to sleep on her owner’s bed at night. She is not used to living with children but has met them and is better with older children rather than young ones. She hasn’t lived with cats and would chase them, along with Bonnie, but would back down if a cat stands its ground. She is used to living with Bonnie but is frightened of other dogs.

Tiff is a sweet-natured girl who has never shown any aggression, though she could sometimes be possessive of her food when around Bonnie. She enjoys being bathed and brushed and is fine at the vets. She would be unhappy if she had to stay in boarding kennels and her other dislike is fireworks.

Tiff is house-trained and can be left for a reasonable time. She travels well on the back seat of the car. On walks she is good on and off the lead and she has good recall. Tiff is a quieter girl than Bonnie. Tiff hasn’t yet been spayed but her vaccinations are up to date. She is fit and well.

Tiff can be rehomed with Bonnie or separately. Could you help Tiff (and Bonnie)?
