Rehomed!

Steffi is about 7 years old and she’s a Crossbreed on the smaller side of medium-sized. She is with Safe Rescue, in a foster home in Norwich.

Steffi arrived from another rescue who were sadly being forced to relocate their dogs. She is initially shy with new people but once she’s comfortable in new surroundings she is happy to have humans around. She’s a little confused as to why people want to touch her as nobody had done so before. Her foster carers put her on a lead and sit her on the sofa with them and she will happily relax and fall asleep being stroked. Further experience with this will eventually work its magic and Steffi will become more used to human touch.

Pretty Steffi is inexperienced with walks. She does enjoy them but can be a little stubborn and strong-willed about going where you want to go rather than where she wants to go. This streak of strong will should help her progress to become the more confident version of herself that she was born to be.

Steffi needs a home where there is at least one confident resident dog as this will help improve her own confidence. She may initially be a little aloof with them but once she knows them better she will snuggle up in a bed with them and invite them to play. Steffi has not met cats and she needs a home with no children under twelve years.

Could you offer Steffi a home with a confident resident canine?

Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Steffi’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook
