Blake is an adorable gentle giant who originates from Romania, and is now being fostered in Malvern, Worcestershire for Breasta Dog Rescue. He is an extremely handsome crossbreed boy aged 8 yrs old.
Blake is a big chap weighing in at 52kg. He has had a sad past and lived a life of neglect until now. On arrival at his foster home 2 months ago he was covered in matts, had a bad ear infection, as well as a broken tail. He has been receiving treatment for his ear infection and the broken tail doesn’t cause him any pain, nor need surgery. Blake is now on the road to recovery and just needs a forever home to call his own and to complete his happy ending.
Blake loves his walks and 20-30 minute trips out are ideal for him. Initially he can pull a bit but that’s because he is so excited to be going out. He soon settles and walks nicely. He loves to play and is great with other dogs he meets. Blake is so gentle, and everyone has fallen in love with him, and he is more than happy to lap up all of the attention !
Blake could fit into most homes but ideally looking for one where he’s not left on his own for too long. He is great with children and could happily live in a family setting, with or without another dog. He has also met cats and doesn’t seem bothered with them at all.
Blake would like a large garden where he can run around and explore. He is not a fan of the car at the moment and nervous of journeys. He has had quite a few trips to the vets for his ear infections and the car means another visit, so who can blame hime. Until he gets used to the car, he needs help with this or encouraged to use a ramp. He is the most adorable soppy boy that just needs a loving and warm home in which to spend his retirement years.
