Shrimp (Dunroamin K9 Rescue, fostered Yorkshire)

12/10/19 – Shrimp has found a home – please ignore the September update at the top of this page, we aren’t able to remove it.

Please meet super Shrimp! He’s an 8 year old Whippet/Lab cross and is living in a foster home with five other dogs through Dunroamin K9 Rescue in South Yorkshire.

Shrimp is a lovely friendly boy who gets on great with other dogs and needs to live with at least one other friendly dog to stay cheerful. He wants a home where there’s someone around most of the time.

He loves going out for long walks and is fine off the lead but he has got some whippet prey drive in him so off lead would have to be in suitably secure areas or you could lose him for a while. He’s a great character and really loves his comforts. He’s a fantastic family pet!

Shrimp has a heart murmur but he’s had it all his life and it doesn’t need any treatment. He also has a skin allergy which sometimes flares up. At these times, he’ll need to take Piriton to keep it under control.

He really is a super lad. Just don’t expect him to look at the camera when you want him to. Everything else is just so interesting!
