Update 29/7/2006 We are very sad to report that Bruce suddenly became really unwell. The vet was called but nothing could be done and very sadly Bruce had to be put to sleep.

Rover (Pawz for Thought, Sunderland / Nth & Sth Tyneside)
Tragically, Rover’s tumour had advanced past the point where it could be removed and he has had to be put to sleep. Sleep tight handsome boy.

Oldies Club dogs win prizes!
Dorothy, one of our first poster dogs, and Tango have both won prizes at the Northern Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue sponsored walk event.

6/6/2006 – Ben has very sadly had to be put to sleep. He never fully recovered from the bad treatment he had received, but at least he knew a few months of love from his foster family who worked so hard to help him before the end.

Appeal for Information: Staffy found burned alive
Appeal for Information: A male Staffordshire Bull Terrier has been found burned alive. He was wearing a collar, harness and had been muzzled, tightly tied to a tree and set on fire, his remains were found by a dog walker on the outskirts of Handsworth Golf Course, Birmingham on Wednesday 15th February.
