Adopt An Oldie
-
Freddie (Good Life Dog Rescue, Yorkshire)
Freddie is an active and friendly boy, who is looking for his special home, where he will be an only dog, with no children. He does need to learn boundaries and would benefit from an experienced person who is prepared to leave him to settle without added pressures. Support from the rescue and their behaviourists will be given, and everyone just now wants to see this special boy find the right home, in which to enjoy the rest of his life.
-
Lucky (Lurcher Link Rescue, W. Yorkshire)
Sadly, Lucky has been waiting for his forever home for 2 years and would love a quiet, calm place with his own space, so he’s not suitable to live with young children, just teenagers only. He could live with a calm, female dog but not cats or small furries. It’s time he went home.
-
Alfie (Helping Pets North East, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne)
Alfie is a sweet boy but needs a collie-experienced home with people who will manage his appetite for food and ball-play! He is good with dogs and non-reactive with cats.
-
Bonnie (Friends of Akitas, South Yorkshire)
Bonnie is a sweet Akita looking for a new place to call home. She would like to be your only pet, and needs an adult-only home, or one where children are dog-savvy teenagers. Isn’t she gorgeous?
-
Aurora (Lurcher Link Rescue, West Yorkshire)
It’s a good thing Aurora enjoys sunning herself in kennels, because she’s been there 6 years! If bored, she has a habit of destroying soft, fluffy things – possibly sofas! And she’s very strong on the lead. Are you up for the Aurora challenge? She doesn’t want to be in kennels forever!

Marley & Bandit (Animal Adoption International, fostered Lincs.)
These two sweeties are looking for a peaceful home with no children or cats. They can manage without walks as long as they have a large garden. They’re shy at first and quite anxious about things but they relax and are soppy old sausages once they get to know you.
