Archie (Active Animals Rescue & Rehab, fostered Scotland)

Archie is a super fun, super intelligent Border Collie who could live with other dogs but not cats or children. He needs a secure garden with tall fences and will need plenty of exercise and games. Collie-experienced people will appreciate Archie for all his joie de vivre and the devotion!

Ellie (All Animals Rescue & Rehome, Essex)

Wonderful Ellie loves cuddles and snoozing on the sofa. Other favourites are food, walks, playtime and swimming! She will be a loyal and devoted friend and would prefer to be your only dog. She could live with kids who have experience of living with GSDs.

Ball-hoarding Coco (Oldies Club, fostered East Sussex)

This beautiful lady is very definite about certain things. If you throw a ball for her to chase, she will keep it and expect you to then throw another. She’s OK with most dogs outside but wants to be an only pet. She’s affectionate, funny, stubborn and loves walkies!

Baxta (Rescue Remedies, kennelled Gatwick)

Baxta is such a good boy on walks that he’s used for inductions for first time dog walkers at the kennels! He needs a child free home and a tennis ball or several. He’s an active, attentive boy who will keep you amused with his dedication to ball duty.

BuskyBear (Rescue Remedies, kennelled Gatwick)

BuskyBear is a lovely boy who enjoys his walks and absolutely loves cuddles and fuss! He’d like to have someone at home with him a lot of the time. Older children would be fine for him and maybe another dog after careful introductions. Want to come walkies?

Wendy (Stray2Me, kennelled Surrey)

Wendy is super affectionate, super intelligent and has the most beautifully done eyeliner imaginable! She loves other dogs she meets on walks but wants to be the only pet at home. Older teenagers would be fine for her. She loves walks and she loves love!

Niko (Friends of Akitas, kennelled Notts.)

Niko is a handsome boy who loves to play chase in the garden with his humans. He’s a very good traveller. Walks are so exciting that he gets a bit giddy and woofs his excitement, just so that you know that walks really are the best thing ever!

Butch (1 Dog At A Time, Northants)

Butch likes walks in the countryside, snoozing in the sunshine and getting fusses. He likes being stroked so much that he mumbles about how much he’s enjoying it! He’s good around lady dogs but is wary of most males. Could Butch be your new, outdoorsy best friend?

Thor (Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Gloucestershire)

If you want a doting companion who’s easy on the eye and doesn’t need long walks, than look no further. Thor needs a relaxing retirement without having to deal with other pets, children or much in the way of comings and goings. He’s a home-body and a soppy-head!

Xena (National Animal Welfare Trust, Cornwall)

This lovely girl is shy and sensitive. She’s looking for a home with no children, possibly other dogs and with a lot of outdoor space. She doesn’t enjoy fuss and she has many anxieties but she does love playing ball games! Her new home must be within Cornwall.

Nikita (Carla Lane Animals In Need, Liverpool)

Nikita loves chicken, toys and a fuss (but only when she says so!). She’s good with other dogs on walks but won’t share her home (i.e. toys) with other pets or children. She’s a lady who knows her own mind and needs an experienced owner with a sense of humour.
