Adorable Daisy, a 12-year-old Terrier x Shih Tzu, came into the Oldies Club rescue in April 2025 as her owner was moving abroad. We placed beautiful Daisy in a foster home in North Yorkshire.

Daisy’s foster carers enjoy regular trips away in their motorhome, and so lucky little Daisy went along with them. She took to the motorhoming lifestyle straight away and thoroughly enjoyed her adventures. With Daisy having the time of her life in foster care, imagine how delighted we were when her foster carers asked if they could adopt Daisy. We were extremely delighted!

We have received these lovely photos from Daisy’s adopters, and a little update on how Daisy is doing, as follows:
“What can I say about little Daisy?
We lost our precious Boerboel boy in December and thought we could foster a little girl to help ease the pain. When Daisy arrived she was so frightened and used to dither in the mornings. We put our hearts into calming her down and after lots of love and treats she started to come out of her shell.
We couldn’t let her go so we applied to adopt. She’s been all over with us in our motorhome, plus she’s been on a train, boat, tram and a bus and never flinched. She’s bombproof and we wouldn’t be without her.
She’s just so full of life!”

It is wonderful to hear that Daisy continues to live life to the full. We are so happy for Daisy and would like to say thank you to her foster-carers-turned-adopters for giving her such a wonderful home and so many adventures.
