Gorgeous 12 year old Border Collie Jasper fell on his feet when he went to stay with foster carer Nikki. Thanks to her devoted care, the frightened, underweight and neglected dog that Jasper was when the RSPCA rescued him from his former owner blossomed into a cheerful, friendly boy who responded brilliantly to human kindness.
Things got even better for Jasper when he was adopted by Oldies Club supporter Rae and her family – with time, patience and love, Jasper is learning to adapt to domestic life, and is loving every minute of it! :-)
He’s now even a bit of a local celebrity… Jasper has recently featured in two local papers, and continues to show his new family – and everyone who meets him – just how much older dogs have to offer. Our thanks and congratulations go not just to Jasper’s foster carer and adopters, but to everyone who helped him into his new home.
