June 2010 Update. We’ve just had an update and some wonderful new pictures from Immy and Roxy’s mum.  She says:

“You may remember that we adopted Roxy a year ago, and Immy via a private rehoming on the Oldies Club website, in December 2009. Roxy is now around 15 and Immy as far as we know, 18.     But of course there is life in the old dogs yet and I am delighted to attach a couple of photos of them both enjoying themselves in the River Avon at lunchtime today.

Even the hot weather doesn’t get them down. We do have another oldie, Zack, also aged 15, but he refused to pose, I’m afraid.    We have had so much enjoyment from our older dogs and I cannot recommend highly enough taking one of these wonderful animals into your home. Even at 18, Immy is a real delight.”

Update 13/05/2012 – Sadly Immy has now passed to Rainbow Bridge.

Gorgeous Immy was rehomed privately via an entry on the Oldies Club website.   She is one of our most senior Oldies at 18 years old and she’s settled very happily into her new home proving that it’s never to late for a dog to start a new life.   Her new owners adore her and she’s obviously getting the best of care.   Her new owner has sent us these fantastic photos and an update on how she’s getting on.   ” Immy is a delightful 18 year old who acts as if she was half her age.  We rehomed her privately via the Oldies Club about a month ago and we all love her to bits.   She has settled in very well with our other Oldies Roxy and Zak and she simply adores her walks and her food.   It is very hard to believe that she is as old as she is.  Immy is such a sweet girl and loves a cuddle and a nice warm blanket at night.  We always put her “superman” cost on her for walks in the snow.  Doesn’t she look lovely?”
