Say hello to beautiful Venetia! This pretty kitty would like to introduce herself.
Hi my name is Venetia and I am a beautiful Domestic Short Hair looking for my retirement home through the Home Direct scheme at the Blue Cross in Hertfordshire. This means that I am still currently living with my owner and any interest in me would need to contact Blue Cross to arrange an appointment to meet me if considered a suitable match.
I am a little timid initially but I am very sweet-natured and affectionate once I have got to know you and will sneak up onto your bed for a cuddle and a fuss. I soon come round to visitors and enjoy a stroke from them to. Here is a video of me enjoying a nice cuddle.
I am quite a homely cat as I am a little sensitive about loud noises and other cats in the local area, but I’m sure in time I would like a quiet garden of my own to explore. I’m not silly when it’s raining and make sure I am in the most comfiest, warmest spot you can find.
I do have a playful nature at times and will chase cat balls and bat feathers with my paws but do quite like the lazy life and enjoy lots of snoozing.
I would be best suited to a quiet home with owners who can ensure I get lots of love and affection, young children can be quite scary for me as I am not used to them but would settle with older children who can take their time with me.
I have a lot of love to give and hope someone will love me to. I look forward to meeting my new family.
