Oldies Club is an organisation dedicated to helping homeless older dogs. We support dogs in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.
Oldies Club is urgently looking for more foster homes who can provide temporary care for older dogs who find themselves without a home through no fault of their own. Older dogs are handed in to us for many reasons, sometimes due to the death of their owners, changes in circumstances or where elderly owners are unable to take care of their much loved dogs any longer.
We need caring foster homes to help us give those oldies a new lease in life. Some of our dogs are rehomed within weeks of coming into our care,while others are fostered for months.
All types of foster homes are welcome, and we always do our best to match the dog to the fosterer’s family and circumstances. We are especially on the look out for experienced fosterers, pet free homes and those who are willing to foster pairs, larger breeds such as GSDs and Bullbreeds such as Staffies.
Oldies Club is a UK wide rescue and so we are on the look out for foster homes in all areas. We particularly need more foster homes in the North East and Wales, but if you are interested, please contact us wherever you are in the UK.
All our foster homes are home checked. We give full support to our foster carers and are always on hand to help sort out any problems or give advice where needed. Oldies Club pays for all veterinary treatment for dogs in our care.
