Tia Oldies Club sponsor dog

Tia is a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier girl who came into Oldies Club care in 2016. She was placed on pain killers soon after arriving in her foster home as arthritis was very evident and, the vet advised, would just get worse. She was later placed on stronger painkillers as she seemed to be suffering more and was particularly having trouble with a rear leg. Tia has also experienced shaking, which the vet said was an early sign of dementia.

The vet has informed us that Tia’s long-term prognosis is sadly not as good as we would hope and with this in mind, we made the decision to place Tia in our sponsor dog scheme, which means she stays in her current foster home permanently and Oldies Club covers the cost of her vet bills.

Tia has been able to enjoy short walks and her favourite food and she is receiving lots of love and TLC in her forever-foster home. Her foster family tell us she’s definitely become a lap dog, needing a lot of attention and not wanting to be left. Her new humans are taking great care of her on our behalf and enjoying her loving personality.

Due to current concerns for Tia’s health, we are not issuing sponsor packs for her at this time, as we usually do for our sponsor dogs. If you are looking to sponsor a dog for yourself or as a gift for someone else and wish to receive one of our sponsor packs, please select another of our lovely dogs to sponsor HERE.
